
There’s just something undeniably enticing about the entry level Porsche 912, built from 1965 to 1969. Unlike later four-cylinder models, it had the exact same shape as the six-cylinder 911 of the time, yet in having a smaller, lesser-powered engine that was placed closer to the rear wheels and a generally lower weight, it was easier and more forgiving to drive.
